How to prepare for the NET examination

It is almost impossible to find a PhD admission criteria in any Rajasthan University that allows direct admission to this esteemed program. Many universities choose a suitable candidate through a PhD entrance exam in Rajasthan while every university without fail does encourages the student to have cleared the NET examinations with a high score.

The National Eligibility Test or NET is conducted by the UGC and is used to determine the eligibility to award the Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and lectureship.   1. Prepare as per the syllabus: This tip is related to time management as well as research. One should know the syllabus of the test and prepare accordingly. This will ensure that no topics are skipped and you will be prepared for the test perfectly.
  1. Prioritize: The NET has three sections, a common paper which is on aptitude and general awareness, and the other two are on your topics of choice from a list. You need to clear the common paper as well as the other two to qualify, so prioritize your time of preparation accordingly.
  1. Past papers: Go through the past papers that will help you set a bar and assist you in the preparation. It might be necessary to take the help of a mentor at times to help you solve some of the questions.
